Pradeep is a mechanical engineer who has spent over 13 years working in both industry and academia before co-founding Eco Arch (Pvt) Ltd.
He received his bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Moratuwa and completed his Masters in Energy Technology and Environment from SIIT, Thammasat University, Thailand.
Pradeep is passionate about evaluating and mitigating the effects of energy generation and consumption on the environment. He has been actively involved in teaching and research on environmental conservation and sustainable development.
His enthusiasm for sustainable practices and travel led him to eco-tourism. Presently, he leads the sales and marketing division of Zigma Tours, where he assists travelers in designing their holidays and tours to Sri Lanka.
As a hobbyist birder, Pradeep also works as a writer for the ‘birdwatchingtoday’ (BWT) website and is actively involved in many other educational activities of BWT.
